SARAH
CHASE

My professional career is dedicated to working behind the scenes to champion both public and private projects that are mission-driven and have a clear focus on empathically strengthening human understanding. My passion is to advocate for initiatives that advance social and health equity, using innovative and evidence-based approaches. I have also worked closely with federal agencies, Congress, and the White House to promote research and regulatory science, public health, and criminal justice reform in emerging industries.

For nearly 20 years, I’ve worked primarily with start-up companies and nonprofits in the media, marketing, broadcast, and communication space. I’ve held various COO, CFO, VP, and Business Development positions and worked closely with executive teams in the United States, Europe, and Asia to translate high-level visions into realized corporate entities.

Whether raising 8 figures, executing a press conference at Dallas Cowboy’s Stadium, writing a last minute speech in a private jet somewhere over Iowa, managing a large Gates Foundation grant, or running up 5th Avenue with a film crew, I have made a career out of steadily finding the best opportunities for my clients and companies.

As the VP of Marketing at Radicle Science, an AI-driven health-tech B-Corp that generates proof on the true health effects of supplements, I lead the strategy and execution of our brand positioning, messaging, and outreach. I have more than 20 years of experience in marketing, communication, and business development, working with mission-driven and socially impactful projects across various sectors, including media, broadcast, public policy, and consumer advocacy

Prior to Radicle Science, I was honored to serve as the first Executive Director for the Council for Federal Cannabis Regulation (CFCR) where I worked with the FDA, HHS, Congress, and the White House to advance research and regulatory science, public health, and criminal justice reform.

From 2016 to 2020, I served as the Chief Operating Officer for the Alda Communication Training Company (ACT), helping my mentor (and, of course, the world-renowned actor, writer, and director) Alan Alda, bring his proven improv and communication methods to the world. Due to Covid-19, we made the decision to cease operations (READ MORE).

I also served as the Executive Producer, writer, and voice-over artist for Alan's podcast, Clear+Vivid, which has had over 11 million downloads. I produced over 100 episodes with notable guests including Tom Hanks, Paul McCartney, Julie Andrews, Madeline Albright, Tina Fey, Michael J. Fox, Judge Judy, Isabella Rossellini, and many more.

I have led communication and media training workshops for corporate clients, as well as at the United Nations, NASA, the Nature Conservancy, and various "Shark Tank" events. I'm an executive committee member of the National Small Business Association and have served on panels with the Global Coalition for Aging and the Council on Foreign Relations.

Before moving back to the United States in 2013, I worked from international office locations in both London and Frankfurt, where I advised a diverse range of clients and companies. I have been a featured political commentator on Sky News and BBC Radio.

For fun, I enjoy endurance running (marathons and ultramarathons), biking, riding, hiking, travel, reading, exploring, and volunteering for NGO's like Worldwide Orphans and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. To date, I've raised over $35,000 for children's charities through my running events.

My personal creed comes from Hesiod:

"Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat. Long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first, but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning."
